Mentoring InTo聽Engineering I (MITE) is a one-week summer program designed for motivated minority rising juniors in high school to introduce them to the exciting world of engineering. MITE offers an in-depth, on-campus opportunity that allows students to participate in lectures, laboratory demonstrations, and facility tours, as well as to perform hands-on engineering projects with Tuskegee faculty, students and alumni.聽

Mentoring InTo聽Engineering II (MITE) is a one-week summer program designed for motivated minority rising seniors in high school. The purpose of the program is to introduce them to the exciting world of engineering. The program offers an in-depth, on-campus exposure for rising high school seniors. This great opportunity allows students to participate in lectures, laboratory demonstrations, and facility tours, as well as to perform hands on discipline oriented engineering projects with Tuskegee faculty, students, and alumni.聽

All MITE participants are required to pay a $50 application fee. Upon acceptance to the program, the participants will be responsible for an enrollment fee and any personal expenses.

How Can You Participate in MITE?

  • Be a rising High School Junior or Senior with a 3.0 GPA or better
  • Apply to the MITE Summer Program聽by the April 10 deadline
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Official Transcript
  • Include a Non-Refundable Application Fee of $50 (Cashiers Check or Money Order Only)
