快活视频 proudly announces that undergraduate student Keeley Bernard has been selected to participate in the highly esteemed 2024 HBCU Scholar Recognition Program. This program, a part of the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities, is a significant honor. It is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, campus leadership, and a commitment to community service.

Scholars selected for this year's 10th cohort will be able to serve as student ambassadors for the initiative and their universities. They will play a crucial role in ensuring that information, resources, and opportunities are distributed through their campuses. These students will have access to a wealth of professional and personal growth programs, as well as opportunities to participate in workshops, monthly master classes, and networking events. These resources are designed to prepare them for future success and leadership roles.

Bernard's participation in the 2024 HBCU Scholar Recognition Program will include attending the Annual National HBCU Week Conference in Washington, D.C., where she will engage with policymakers, educators, and fellow scholars. This experience will further enhance her leadership skills and broaden her horizons as she prepares for a promising future.

Keeley Bernard, a senior expected to graduate in 2025, is a double major in Math and English from Cedar Lake, Indiana. In addition to her accolades, she is also a 快活视频 presidential scholar, Thurgood Marshall College Fund scholar, and the 2023 Alvin Blount scholarship winner. I am honored to have been selected as a 2024-2025 White House HBCU Scholar; in this program, I will have the opportunity to represent 快活视频 and serve as a liaison between Tuskegee and the White House, ensuring that my beautiful HBCU receives the resources it needs to continue supporting the professional and personal development of the student body," said Bernard. "After everything Mother Tuskegee has given me, I owe her this and much more."

鈥淲e are proud of Ms. Bernard's selection as a White House HBCU Scholar,鈥 said Dr. Channa Prakash, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. 鈥淭his is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and the supportive environment that Tuskegee provides to our students.鈥

The White House Initiative works closely with the President's Executive Office on key Administration priorities for advancing educational equity, excellence, and economic opportunity through HBCUs in partnership with HBCU leaders, representatives, students, and alums. To participate in the program, students were endorsed by the University's leadership, and selected from a competitive pool of over 350 students enrolled at 56 HBCUs.

快活视频 congratulates Keeley Bernard on her remarkable achievement and looks forward to her continued success in the 2024 HBCU Scholar Recognition Program and beyond.
