Annual awards honor excellence among faculty, staff

¿ì»îÊÓƵ honored its own on Friday, April 20 during its 67th Annual Recognition Exercises. The event recognizes exceptional service and commitment to the university during the academic year by staff and faculty. The awards program is co-hosted by the Office of Human Resources, the Office of the President, the Staff Senate and the Faculty Senate.
This year’s recipient of the university’s overall Staff Employee of the Year Award is Denise Fitzpatrick, who serves as secretary in the College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Social Work. Honorees of category-specific awards — all of which were nominated by their peers — are:
